    We recommend you reach Observatory by 5:00 PM.


    Commute via train:

    • Take Karjat or Khopoli train from Central Line (we recommend boarding at 03:35 pm Karjat - Fast from CSMT).  
      • 03:35 pm from CSMT 
      • 03:43 pm at Dadar  
      • 04:04 pm at Ghatkopar 
      • 04:16 pm at Thane 
      • 04:42 pm at Kalyan
    • Arrives Vangani by 5:12 pm
    • Exit Vangani from west side & hire share auto for Dhone Village (Rs.15 for Share Auto).
    • Auto rickshaw would drop next to Gram Panchayat office.
    • 1 minute walk for Nisarg More nursery.

    We provide dormitory as well as tent stay (charges vary for both).   


    For adults:

    • Entry with DORMITORY stay: INR 1899/- 
    • Entry with TENT stay: INR 2399/-

      

    For children (age 4-12 yrs):

    • Entry with DORMITORY stay: INR 1749/- 
    • Entry with TENT stay: INR 2249/-

    • 03:00 to 06:00 PM: Check-in at Horizon Observatory. You are welcome to explore the nursery till we start the event.
    •  05:00 PM: Explore resort and have evening snacks
    •  06:00 PM: Introduction to astronomy, understanding the night sky and the flow of the overnight events
    • 07:00 PM: Observation of Saturn’s rings, Jupiter, and it’s satellite beautiful clusters, nebulae, binary stars, and much more with our telescopes.
    • 08:00 PM: Identification of pole star, constellations, nakshatras, and zodiac signs
    • 09:00 PM: Dinner break
    • 10:30 PM: Astronomy discussions and talks. Special topics on astronomy
    • 11:30 PM: Stargazing for deep sky objects
    • 12:10 AM: Tea break
    • 01:00 AM: Astrophotography and light painting workshop from cellphone camera as well as DSLR camera
    • 02:00 AM to 04:30 AM - Astronomy interactive quiz, games and astro antakshari. Interactive session and talk with our experts. participants can rest or sleep during this time
    • 04:30 AM: Early morning stargazing when sky has changed & some new objects as visible.
    • 06:00 AM: A walk to nearby river followed by sun gazing through certified solar filter
    • 07:00 AM: Morning breakfast
    • 08:00 AM: Packing your bags with memories of a Night Full of Stars


    Mandatory Things to Carry:

    • Water bottle
    • Warm clothing for winter nights
    • Mosquito repellent cream (Odomos)
    • Blankets and bedsheets. (Tarpaulin Mat will be spread on the ground for sitting) 

    Under no circumstances pillow or blankets from tent or /dormitory are allowed to be taken out. If you want blanket on ground, please carry your personal blanket.


    Optional things to carry (on your own risk):

    • DSLR
    • Tripod
    • Binoculars


    • Alcohol, smoking or any kind of intoxications are strictly prohibited at our premises. You will be asked to leave for such behavior.
    • Weather conditions are out of our hands. In case of cloudy weather or any natural or man-made calamities, refund will not be provided. Alternate plans or In-door activities are done in case of sudden climate change during event.
    • Stay will be provided in dormitory/tent as per your registration. If you opt for Tent Stay, you'll be sharing with two or three people. Inform us, three days prior for a private tent. 
    • If you are interested in wide field astrophotography, kindly carry tripod for your cell phone/DSLR.
    • Swimming pool is not part of our Itinerary as pool is closed at night.
    • We shall not take responsibility for loss of personal belongings and/or Life
    • Drinking Water is available on our observatory ground


    • 100% amount refund, if cancelled 7 days prior the event.
    • 50% amount refund, if cancelled within 3-7 days of event.
    • 0% amount refund, if cancelled within 0-2 days of event.
    • Tickets are non-transferable.
